A copyright owner has claimed content in one of your videos‏

Last week a got an email with the title above.
The email said this:

Dear BarrytheSuperScot,

Video Disabled

A copyright owner has claimed it owns some or all of the audio content in your video I'm An Asshole: Crackdown style. The audio content identified in your video is Asshole by Denis Leary. We regret to inform you that your video has been blocked from playback, due to a music rights issue.

Now that's a load of crap. What harm was my video doing? If anything it was making the song more popular than anything else. I'm sure the artist wouldn't have minded their song being used in such a creative way! It's not like I didn't give credit! There are shitloads of videos on Youtube using copyrighted material (some not even giving credit) and they don't get removed!
As for that Audio Swap thing, that doesn't help me, the whole point of my video was that it went with the song.

Seriously, the "third-party" whoever they may be have a serious stick up their arse and must think that me using a comedic song in a creative way on the Internet (And not making money from it) is SERIOUS BUSINESS.
Even the other decent ones have been deleted too. But some others still remain, what's the difference? How is that fair?

And now when I try to put the video up it somehow knows straight away what video I'm putting up and I get that email again. How the hell is that possible?
Well, I doubt they'll ever read this but, whoever that "third-party" is, I have one thing to say to you: Fuck you!

"I'm An Asshole": Crackdown style

Rest in peace, Tiddles.

On Monday night my cat died. Her name was "Tiddles". We mostly called her the mother cat though. I've been very upset over this and I will miss her a lot. She was my best animal friend. Probably best friend overall.

I'm torn up over this. She was with us since 1992 when she came in as a stray. She came in for 1 day in 1992 then went away for a while until Easter 1993 then she got pregnant and had a kitten who's still with us.

She was such an affectionate cat to me. I will miss her so much.

I hope she was at peace when she went.

R.I.P. Tiddles. The mother cat with us from 1992-9th of June 2008.

I will never forget you.

China photos. Final part!

I have now uploaded the final selection of China photos. It's from the 29th of September to the 1st of October covering the last day of walking and my time in Beijing.

I hope you enjoyed the photos. I know it took me a while but it was worth it in the end.
